  1. In this Chapter Jesus warns the four churches of their wrong doings. He tells them that if they don't repent there will be a consequence. Still they should not be afraid of the punishment because they should stick with God. If they do this than God will deliver them from the hands of Satan. Satan is seated at the throne leading them into the wrong direction. God is the almighty and stronger than him. So if they remain in him, he also will remain in them.

Jesus warns the church in Pergamos that they should repent of their wrong doings. If they don't than he will fight them with his sword of mouth.

To the church in Thyatira Jesus tells them that he is pleased with their actions, love, faith, service, preserverance. He knows that they are trying their best. Yet they still have their negatives.

In this passage we can learn what God thinks about worshiping other idols or doing other things displeasing to him. He doesn't like it at all. He gives us warnings when we do something against him and tells us that there are certain punishments to pay. We shouldn't fear those punishments if we remain in him. Because then he will deliver us from Satan.

  2. Very well said. Looking forward to what you have to say about The Witch of Endor.
